U.S. Border Patrol agent seriously injured after Sanderson, Texas, tornado strikes his house (2)

SANDERSON, Texas — A U.S. Border Patrol agent sustained serious injuries after a tornado struck his house in Sanderson, Texas.

Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland expressed gratitude for the response and assistance following the tornado. "First and foremost, I want to thank everyone that has responded and assisted with the tornado that hit Sanderson this afternoon," he said.

Cleveland confirmed that all roads are clear of debris and everyone in the area is accounted for. However, he noted one serious injury of a U.S. Border Patrol Agent due to his house taking a direct hit. He requested prayers for the agent and his family.
