Southwest Montana will be the epicenter of snow
Heavy snowfall expected tonight with widespread rainfall in Montana

Our Thursday forecast is calling for daytime highs in the 40s and 50s with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. Overnight lows in southwest Montana will be below freezing. A spring storm is bringing in heavy mountain snow along the mountains and passes of southwestern Montana. Heavy rain is also in the forecast with a flood watch now in place for the Little Bighorn River near Hardin. A freeze watch is in place for southwest Bighorn Basin, Southeast Bighorn Basin, Cody foothills and north Bighorn Basin. Sub-freezing temperatures in the 30s will be possible.
