Now that it is the dead of winter here in Chicago, I am loving my Ninja Foodi Deluxe for easy and simple meats that I would normally toss on the grill, like seasoned boneless skinless chicken thighs.
Not only can I quickly season the chicken with whatever spice rub I want, when cooked in the air fryer they come out moist on the inside but with a bit of a crisp to the outside.

You can make a whole chicken in the ninja foodi (it has an awesome gravy as well!). Air Fryer Chicken Tenderloins are also delicious and super easy to prepare.

What other spices would be good for air fryer chicken thighs?
The great thing about this air fryer chicken thigh recipe is that you can truly use any dry spice blend you would like to season them. You can even leave them plain and just coat them in olive oil.
- italian seasoning
- greek seasoning
- dry teriyaki seasoning
- garlic powder
Do I have to spray chicken thighs with oil before placing in air fryer basket?

Nope! Because the chicken thighs are already coated in oil along with the spice mixture, there is no need to spray them with additional oil before air frying.
Can I use frozen chicken thighs?
Yes you can, I would add 2 minutes to the cook time and test to make sure that the internal temperature of the chicken is at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit. But frozen chicken thighs will cook just fine in the air fryer!
How to store leftovers
Store leftover chicken thighs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
