If you are old enough to legally enjoyJägermeister then you probably are already familiar with the most common way to enjoy the spirit - as an ice cold shot. I thought it was time to explore some other great drink recipes to celebrate the herbal liqueur, so the folks at Jägermeister helped me put together this list of Jägermeister co*cktail recipes. However, I decided that it was time to take things into my own hands and add some other Jager co*cktails to our list as well!
Classic Jägermeister Shot
This is the classic - simply pour ice cold Jägermeisterin a shot glass. Yeah - it's that easy.!
Now that we have the easy one down, let's go on to the advanced Jägermeister co*cktail recipes!
Jägermeister Rudi
1 part Jägermeister
1 part bitter, hoppy beer
A crowning moment! Simply top off your Jägermeistershot with a beer cap. While the two will mix naturally, the beer head will form a mousse on top, creating a crown to admire and appreciate.
Jägermeister After Dark
1/2 part Dark Chocolate Liqueur
1 part Jägermeister
Join Jäger on the dark side with a taste of chocolate liqueur such as Mozart®Black in this drink recipe.
Pour the liqueur and then use a bar spoon to stream the Jägermeisteron top. Drop in a cropped straw and drink from the bottom for a delicious taste of chocolate followed by the herby balance of Jagermeister to round it off.
Jäger Ginger
1 1/2 PartsJägermeister
1/4 lime
1-2 slices of cucumber
Ice Cold Ginger Beer to taste
Ice Cubes
Similar to a Moscow mule but with the added flavor of Jägermeister, this is a refreshing summertime drink.
Jägermeister Fresh Orange
1 1/2 Parts Jagermeister
Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
Crushed Ice
Orange Zest
The herbal flavors of Jägermeisterand the sweet and tangy juice from the orange mix for a visually beautiful drink with orange juice on the bottom and the dark Jägermeisterfloating on top.
Finish with a twist of orange zest and a stir stick.
Jäger Energy Drink
1 1/2 Parts Jagermeister
1 can Energy Drink
Ice Cubs
Lemon or Lime Zest
A delicious combination that brings out the flavors of the spirit. Pour the energy drink in a long glass and then top off with 1.5 oz of Jägermeisterand finish with a twist of Lemon or Lime zest for an added kick. The perfect co*cktail recipe for a busy night.
Jäger Tonic
2 parts Jägermeister
Tonic water
Because who the hell needs gin? Combine all ingredients in a tall glass with ice, stir well and garnish with an orange slice.
The Redhead
1/3 part Jägermeister
1/3 part peach schnapps
1/3 part cranberry juice
Blondes get noticed, but redheads are never forgotten. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well and strain into a shot glass. Can also be served as a co*cktail.
Black Sunset
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
1 part Black Beard® Spiced rum
2 parts pineapple juice
Nothing says dark quite like Jägermeister. Add spiced rum and dark becomes something else. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well, and strain into a tall glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
California Surfer
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
1 ½ parts coconut rum
5 parts pineapple juice
Our classic mixture of Jägermeister, coconut rum and pineapple juice keeps the surf up. Ride this wave all night long. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well and strain into a tall glass with ice. Garnish with an orange slice.
Jäger Mary
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
Bloody Mary mix
Even we didn't know it would taste this good. Combine all ingredients in a tall glass with ice, stir well and garnish with lemon, lime and a celery stalk.
Wicked Apple
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
1 part apple schnapps
1 part pineapple juice
Made with love from Grandma's special batch of apples. Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice, and shake and serve in a martini glass or in a rocks glass on ice.
Dogmen's Revenge
1 part Jägermeister
½ part peach schnapps
½ part raspberry puree
1 part fresh lemon juice
Keep revenge at-bay with this calming co*cktail, made from Jägermeister and some essential fruits sure to help you chill out. Combine all ingredients in a shaker, shake well and strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Top with a splash of soda.
Jäger Float
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
3 parts root beer
Vanilla ice cream
Jägermeister and a scoop of ice cream goes down as good as dessert. Pour the Jägermeister in a large glass, add two scoops vanilla ice cream, then add root beer.
Jägerita
2 parts Jägermeister
½ part Cointreau®
1 part sour mix
Get out your German sombrero. Combine Jägermeister and Cointreau® in an ice filled co*cktail glass. Fill with sour mix. Blend with ice to make it frozen.
Six Point Stag
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
¼ part Smith and Cross® Navy Strength rum
½ part John D. Taylor® Velvet Falernum
½ part lime juice
1 part pineapple juice
3 drops Bittermans® Tiki bitters
Six ingredients can be intimidating, but don't back down from this stag. Combine all ingredients except Jägermeister in a tall glass in this order: rum, Falernum, fresh lime juice and pineapple juice. Then add the crushed ice and then gently mix with a spoon. Then add more ice and top with Jägermeister, bitters, a pineapple slice and a nice sprig of fresh mint.
Jäger Barrel
2 parts Jägermeister
Root beer
A masterfully aged blend of Jägermeister and root beer. Combine all ingredients in a tall glass with ice and stir.
Tikimeister
1 ½ parts Jägermeister
½ part ginger liquor
½ part Appleton Estate Reserve® Rum
½ parts lime juice, orange juice, pineapple juice
½ part raspberry simple syrup
Breathe in, breathe out. No, you're not in heaven, but this is pretty close to it. Combine all ingredients plus one ice cube in a shaker and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Top with more crushed ice and stir quickly. Garnish with a pineapple leaf and a lime wheel.
